Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Blue Feather Academy. By enrolling in our courses, accessing our materials, or using our services, you agree to comply with the following Terms and Conditions. Please read these carefully before engaging with our Academy.


1. General

1.1. Blue Feather Academy provides English language training programs for individuals and groups.
1.2. These Terms & Conditions apply to all students, parents/guardians (if applicable), and users of our services.
1.3. The Academy reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated via email or posted on our official website.


2. Enrollment and Payments

2.1 Registration

  • Students must complete the registration process and provide accurate personal information.
  • Enrollment is confirmed upon receipt of payment and acceptance of these Terms.

2.2 Fees and Payment Schedule

  • Monthly Fees:
    Parents/guardians are required to make the monthly payment for tuition fees on or before the 7th of each month.
  • Late Payment Charges:
  • If the payment is not made by the 7th of the month, a late payment charges will be applied.
  • The late payment charge, along with the outstanding fee, must be cleared on or before the 20th of the same month.
  • Consequences of Non-Payment:
  • Failure to pay the fee and late charges by the 20th may result in suspension of the student’s access to classes and resources until all dues are cleared.

2.3 Payment Methods

  • Payments can be made via Bank Transfer or Check leaf in the name of “Blue Feather Academy”, we do not encourage Cash or other QR payment method.
  • Payment receipts will be issued upon successful transactions.

2.4 Refunds

  • Fees are non-refundable unless under specific circumstances outlined in the Refund Policy section of these Terms.

3. Attendance and Conduct

3.1. Students are expected to be ready at the time of class so the the student can start the class as soon as the teacher arrives.
3.2. The Academy teacher may get delayed to the class. In this case, the teacher or the academy will inform the student or parent or guardian in advance. There will be an exception if the teacher arrives to the session a little delayed [time limit, e.g., 5 to 15 minutes].
3.3. Disruptive behavior, disrespect toward instructors or peers, or violation of Academy policies may result in disciplinary action.


4. Course Materials

4.1. Course materials provided by the Academy are for personal use only.
4.2. Copying, distributing, or sharing course materials without written permission is strictly prohibited.


5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1 Student-Initiated Cancellations

  • If a student cancels a session, they may arrange a compensation class by discussing it directly with their teacher.
  • The compensation class must be scheduled and completed by the end of the same month.
  • If the student is unable to find or attend a compensation class within the same month, the session will not be carried over to the next month, and no refunds will be issued.

5.2 Teacher-Initiated Cancellations

  • If a session is cancelled by the teacher, the teacher will coordinate with the student or parent/guardian to arrange a compensation class.
  • If the teacher is unable to provide or allocate a compensation class, the cancelled session will be carried over to the following month and reflected as a credit or adjustment in the next month’s invoice.

6. Liability

6.1. Blue Feather Academy is not responsible for any loss or damage of personal property during classes or Academy-related activities.
6.2. The Academy will not be held liable for delays, disruptions, or cancellations caused by events beyond its control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics).


7. Privacy and Data Protection

7.1. The Academy collects and uses personal data in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
7.2. Students’ personal information will not be shared with third parties without prior consent, except where required by law.


8. Intellectual Property

8.1. All content, including lesson plans, teaching materials, and branding, remains the intellectual property of Blue Feather Academy.
8.2. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of these materials is prohibited.


9. Complaints and Feedback

9.1. Students may submit complaints or feedback via email to Info@bluefeatheracademy.com or bluefeatheracd@gmail.com.
9.2. The Academy will respond to complaints within [time frame, e.g., 7 business days].


10. Governing Law

10.1. These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India/ Tamil Nadu.
10.2. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Poonamallee.
